What Is In A Solar Panel?

The greatest part of a solar panel is silicon. Not just any silicon, but pure silicon. While we’re aware of the uses of silicon in computer chips, it’s not as well known that they are the basis of all solar panels. This is because silicon is the ideal material for the transmission of electrons. Since electrons are the source of the energy that is produced by the solar panel, using silicon is perfectly obvious. In fact, science hasn’t come up with another material that is adequate to the task, so silicon is very important.

Solar power is the energy source of the future.
