can anyone walk me through filing a complaint against my city government?

I need to know what steps I need to take to file an intentional negligence complaint against my city government. I am located in Iowa. I will represent myself because there is no question as to the guilt of those involved.

I would still get a lawyer. It may be that they are obviously guilty as hell but you could still lose due to procedural issues or something else.

    Find out who is the City Solicitor and write up and mail your complaint to him.

    You could also write a letter to the Iowa Attorney General. You will find his contact details on the Iowa Government website.
