why do i have to gain employment in a city that i am not yet a resident of?
i am wanting to move to fulton county but the housing authority(sec.8) there is saying that i’d have to be employed to do so,yes employed in atlanta,to be excepted,is that fair???i am employed currently in my city, georgia, but it will probably take me some time to gain employment in atlanta,i have been looking tho.i just dont understand that i’ve never heard anything of the such, hell what address do i put on my job applications,i am basically being asked to walk before i crawl?ok please someone shed light on this for me,somebody anybody.
It seems as though you are "getting the cart before the horse". The housing authority (Sec.
is a government agency and you have to start somewhere. That somewhere to start would be establishing a residence, go to work and on up the ladder. Make sense? Can’t start in the middle and get anywhere. It’s like
"is the glass half full or half empty".

Section 8 is thru welfare dept so yes you would have to be a resident.

Wow, that does sound like a silly requirement. Have you checked with a legal authority such as a lawyer etc. as to the legality of this?
