Thursday, May 6th, 2010Everyone keeps telling me if I dont go to college to get a "city job" which I am assuming is public works, but somebody list these off for me it would be much appreciated.
Sorry…..college is the only way to go……get with the health programs……….you will always have work.
There are thousand and thousands of talented, experience people on the street due to the economy…the competition for any job is extreme. …people will do anything for much less just to feed their kids……..I don’t expect it to get any better before 2012……sorry……

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010About 14 years when I was 19 and a dumb one at that I was charged with felony possession of Marijuana in south Texas. This has never really hurt me since I have never lived in Texas now me and my family are thinking of moving to Texas and I was looking at some city jobs and all require background checks. So I was wondering do they only go back 7 years or so or what the deal is.
Not very far we had a criminal police chief, mayor and city council.
