A Certification for Medical Assistants

A higher education or formal training is not a requirement for people wanting medical assistant jobs, but that may soon change as different States may soon require their medical assistants to be formally trained first. The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) are two of the most respected bodies that give accreditation to vocational schools, community and junior colleges, and other institution that offer training programs, including the parent schools of those offering online training courses. Getting your certification is also an advantage if you want to have a successful medical assistant career.
